Pitch Perfect2 to be released 15 May 2015

The Barden Bellas are back in Pitch Perfect 2, the follow-up to summer 2012’s smash hit. The comedy is helmed by Elizabeth Banks, co-star and producer of Pitch Perfect, and produced by Paul Brooks, Max Handelman and Banks. Pitch perfect2 is set to hit the screens in May this year and if you loved the first package of the movie i'm sure you will love and are keen on seeing what the Bellas have for us.

After its debut in 2012, Pitch Perfect became a breakout hit, grossing $113 million worldwide at the box office. The movie also achieved success on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with “Cups”, performed by the film’s star, Anna Kendrick. Now, Kendrick has reunited with her fellow Bardon Bellas — Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee, and Alexis Knapp — as well as some of the Treblemakers — Skylar Astin and Adam Devine — for Pitch Perfect 2. The returning cast will also be joined by Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Ender’s Game) and Katey Sagal (Sons of Arnarchy)

Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will return, playing the characters they originated in the first film.Brittany Snow  will also reprise her character.On April 24, Chrissie Fit was added to the cast of the film. On May 1, Haile Steinfeld was added to the cast of the film, playing a new member of the Barden Bellas.On May 5, Adam DeVine was reportedly returning for the film. On May 14,Katey Sagal was added to the cast of the film playing Steinfeld's character's mother. On May 29, Flula Borg  was added to the cast. He will play the leader of a European a cappella group, Das Sound Machine, that is competing with the Bellas. It was confirmed on June 18, 2014 that Christopher Shepard was added to the cast. It was confirmed on June 24, 2014 that Pentatonix  will play the role of a rival group to the Barden Bellas. On June 25, Birgitte Hjort Sorensen  was confirmed added to the cast.
